Happy Ganesh Chaturthi

 Hello Everyone, just wanted to show you all my new Ganesha made with clay and my daughters diya. My daughter is 8 yr old and she also tried her hands on clay first time. She used to play with clay dough but with this type of clay its her first experience. So appreciate her work.

I have tried to make Ganesha with clay first time. So I hope you will like it and of course tell me in comment how's my first try...

I am uploading raw pic of Ganesha and diya for now. But soon I will upload a colored one.

Update

Hello Everyone, just wanted to update our clay Ganesha status. We have started coloring our Bappa. And my daughter is doing the coloring part. We have decided to primer it first. So we are using camel artist gesso for the base color.

Plz refer below pic for the same.

Let it dry for some time. Then we have decided to give full orange color to Ganesha. We are using camel artist acrylic color Permanent Orange for coloring.

Now complete the details work. (Detail work done by me) And our Clay Ganesha is ready.
